Create your HDRP Project and import into your scene

Start by creating a HDRP core project from Unity Hub. Next, import in the starter assets for this course. Convert all materials to HDRP.

Change the rainy asphault to lit as a shader and connect the materials in the texture tab.

Set your tree texture to alpha clipping with a slight threshold

Your scene should look like this — now let’s fix the global volume. First, add one into scene.

Add a new profile and set your visual environment and lock that into the panoramic image.

Set your exposure to fixed.

If your click on your lights, they should turn on and your scene should look like this.

Create a new lightmap setting and generate lighting.

Add cookies to your lights, adjust their intensity, and bring your HDRI exposure to -1.0f.

Your cookies may be too large, so reduce the size of the texture down to 256.

Turn on Fog and let’s make all of our lights volumetric.

Add ambient occlusion and shadows to our spotlights.

Next, add bloom to our spotlights and use emission intensity.

Add some depth of field and layered lit reflection on the floor and we should be set to go!
