How to add a texture to shader graph

Let’s take the previous article and learn how to add a texture. Start by adding a 2d texture. In order to use textures, you need to use another node called sample texture 2d.

We can then mult so the texture comes in after the vertex color adjustment.

Now we add this pattern onto our texture channel and because it’s multiplied in, the black transfers and the white turns opaque.
