Objective: Let’s add a far more interesting laser system.
For this, we will use the trail renderer. Add the trail renderer to your laser prefab and hide the capsule mesh.
We want to make sure we test the look and pause it to get the trail renderer looking right. Once we add in the curve for the overall look, let’s also add in the trail renderer material. With an emission channel for post processing, this should look pretty amazing.
I also wanted to add some fluctuation to the firing mechanism so the angle at which it shoots out is a little off. By adding some random range, we get that commonly-seen machine gun inaccuracy that is commonly found in most shooters. Far more cooler than originally outlined.
